About Dutch Game Mentors

Dutch Game Mentors is a mentor network for the Dutch games industry started by the Dutch Games Association (DGA) in 2024. The DGA has the mission to level up the Dutch games industry. By providing a network of ace mentors, we aim to help established and upcoming entrepreneurs and professionals reach greater heights.

Our mentors are volunteers that have enjoyed success in the games industry and who want to help others grow. Anyone can apply for mentorship free of charge. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to the game industry or already have a track record: we encourage everyone to apply. All we ask is that you have a clear goal in mind what you want to achieve, so we can pair you with the right mentor.

Dutch Game Mentors will mediate between mentor and mentee to make sure there is a good match. We will select someone who you can level with and helps you with your challenges, so you can grow as an entrepreneur or game professional.

Although we have a set of guidelines, we leave it to the mentor and mentee to find their optimal process. Some will benefit from regular monthly or quarterly meetings, while others settle for once or twice a year; it’s up to you.
